My Birthday is Monday and I’ve got a Gift for You!

Yes, it’s that time again. I’m almost a year older!

And as I mentioned in yesterday’s ezine I’m doing a special birthday blowout this year.

In fact, every single success tool I have on this page: is 50% off until May 4th.

Just use the red ‘buy’ button next to each success tool as normal and you’ll see the discount on the order page.

Island Prime in San Diego
Rex & Lynn at Island Prime in San Diego

Yesterday afternoon I drove down to San Diego to hang out with one of my favorite people Rex Wisehart at Island Prime Restaurant in San Diego. Rex missed out on a big snow storm yesterday at home in Colorado so he’s happy to be in San Diego.

Rex spent years as a top gun corporate turn around guy and now, besides being a business credit expert, he’s the money behind a lot of big people in my industry.  We met at Frank Kern’s Mass Control. Live events are how I’ve met most of my friends over the years. Attending events is always a great networking opportunity and the better the event, the better the networking.

If you would have attended last year you would have met Rex, he was one of our faculty members. If you run over to the site right now you can still download a great interview I did with him on how to get creidt for your business.

What’s New

Quote to Contemplate

“A high level of activity doe not necessarily translate to a high level of commitment on your part.”

Lynn Pierce

Are you creating a high level of activity and kidding yourself into believing it means you have that same level of commitment?

What’s New
I’m home, yeah! Well, at least until 6:30 Monday morning.

Then I’m off to meet my event coordinator Audrey Hagen at a secret undisclosed location in Las Vegas to finalize a hotel selection for this year’s (you can still download last year’s calls until the new site goes up next week)

There’s all kinds of exciting news about this year’s event, but I’m not going to tell you anything until we have the hotel secured.

I’m working on the first trip for “Women, Wine, Wealth & Wisdom”. It’s going to be so much fun, I can’t wait.

When I came home this week I met my friend from Miami, Gayle Carson, for lunch at my favorite spot on the beach in Del Mar, Poseidon. It was sunny when I left my house up the coast and totally socked in with fog by the time I got down the road.

Anyway, I remembered my camera now that my version of WordPress has been updated and I can quickly and easily throw a photo up there all by myself any time I want. I like being able to do that instead of sending it to someone else to do.

Later that afternoon I took my Flip with me on my beach walk and made a short video for you. I hope you watched it. It’s posted on my blog if you haven’t seen it yet.

So watch for me to become a multi-media maven. Well, knowing how non-techie I am, that may be a bit of an overstatement.

Last night’s call was amazing, if I do say so myself. I got great emails from those of you who listened.  Thank you for those. I would love it if you would follow me on twitter and tweet your happiness.

As with anything, the more you get out there and talk about it on social media like twitter or Facebook, the more people see it. The way the Universe works your comment could be seen by someone who is in need of hearing that exact message right now.

I remember a story Wayne Dyer told about a guy who was going to commit suicide and had his radio on and heard Wayne’s message and it was exactly
what he needed to hear to prevent him from taking his life.

Since then I’ve always been very aware of the impact of small things and I try to pass on information whenever I can. That’s one of the reasons I’m always telling you about other people’s books & programs I think you might benefit from.

Life happens, be ready for it.

Set your goals high enough that they require you to stretch your comfort zone and you’ll be amazed what you can achieve. Ask yourself, “What’s the one thing I can change this year to create the life of my dreams?”

Remember to join the conversation on my blog where you’ll also find each week’s ezine posted for your comments.

Create Your Life Blueprint

I just made this video on my beach walk today. This is my first one so I learned a couple lessons: hold the Flip lower (although I won’t remember how high I held it) and I probably need to wear my glasses so I won’t squint. Enjoy the video and join me on the call. If you came here through my email you’ve got the link to register.

Lunch at the beach with “Spunky Old Broad” Gayle Carson

Today I met my friend Gayle Carson, known as “The Spunky Old Broad” for lunch at one of my favorite restaurants on the beach in Del Mar. Unfortunately it was really foggy, so you can’t see the beach that well. Gayle and I met at John Assaraf’s house  five years ago and have stayed in touch. In here 70’s Gayle has just finished a series of workout videos. She certainly inspires me with her spunk. Now Gayle and I are brainstorming some things we can do together.

What a difference a few months makes

Here are 2 photos, 1 taken on my drive from San Diego to Scottsdale before my Christmas trip to Maui through a blizzard and now 2 weeks ago with spring flowers lining the road most of the way! I make this trip almost every month since I always seem to be moving things back and forth. Not a good idea to take pictures while driving with your phone.

I’m looking for 10 women to join me

Before I tell you the news I’m so excited to share with you I want to tell you how much I appreciate you as one of my subscribers, whether you are a fairly new subscriber or someone who has been with me since the beginning 8 years ago.

I would not have been able to do what I have done over the last 8 years if it wasn’t for you participation. And because this particular opportunity is not only limited to women, but to an extremely small group of women, we might not connect on this. So know that I do appreciate you!

This is the most direct/mysterious email I’ve written. I’m not playing games, but I do want to play with you, literally. And we’ll have a ton of fun, if this is a good fit. So you choose by reading this email and and saying, “Hey, this is for me.”

I’ve watched my students from my high-end mentoring programs make dramatic shifts in their mindset, their lifestyle and their businesses over the last few years. I’ve seen the way a small group bonds over a 3 day transformational process and the kind of networking and support that can lead to.

And I want to have a way where we can go beyond that process and build on it by spending more time together on a more intimate level.

I want TEN of you to have unprecedented access to me – even closer access than in my live trainings!

For the last 18 months I have been quietly creating a hybrid program, a fun way to spend time with me and high powered successful women from all over in a relaxed atmosphere and exotic locations combining learning, playing, pampering and networking.

What I heard over and over from women I spoke with about sneak peaks of what I was putting together is that you would love to have been able to join me and my personal friends on some of our private wine country trips I’ve planned for us.

The Premiere of “Women, Wine, Wealth and Wisdom”

There is no website, no video to watch, just this email. So read on and if you want to play with us, send me an email at lynn at with why you would like to join us and we’ll talk.

The details will be reserved for members only, but what I will tell you now is:

Every quarter we’ll be jetting off to a different wine country area for our in person “Women, Wine, Wealth and Wisdom” weekend. Some in the U.S. and some international locations. If you don’t drink, you’ll still be welcome and have a great time in these beautiful locations with these dynamic women.

In between trips we’ll be getting together by phone a couple times a month growing in our knowledge of all things that pertain to “Women, Wine, Wealth and Wisdom”.

You may have the opportunity to enjoy extra trips such as Octoberfest in Munich or holiday shopping in Hong Kong.

I’ve been doing trips like this for years with one or two friends and they continually tell me these are the best trips they’ve ever taken.

You will love being part of “Women, Wine, Wealth and Wisdom”:

*If you are a successful woman who is spending more time working than playing and
would like to hang out with other women just like you who are ready to close the laptop and enjoy a glass of wine with new friends in a location that makes you wish you could freeze that perfect moment, join us. You now have permission to play!

*If you are a woman who would love to travel but either don’t feel comfortable going
alone or you don’t know what to do once you get there, join us! All you have to do is
show up and participate in an amazing fun weekend where everything is taken care of.

*If you like the idea of someone else making all the plans, join us.

*If you love the idea of learning, growing, experiencing new places and then having
intelligent conversations about topics that are life enhancing, “Women, Wine, Wealth
and Wisdom” is for you. Part education, part networking and a whole lot of fun and
adventure as we travel the world together.

I want to share with you the way I am able to travel as much as I want and anywhere I want as I continue to grow my business. I don’t just want to talk about how to have a great life, I want you to experience it first hand. There is no particular income requirement to join us like with some programs; just an attitude of gratitude, a love of life, a desire to live a first class life, and the financial ability to take the time away to travel.

Travel and wine and great food are my biggest passions along with personal growth and I have been successfully combining them for the last 30 years into an amazing life.

“Women, Wine, Wealth and Wisdom” is a way for you to join women who also have those passions.

I have traveled all over the world, feel very comfortable doing it and taking others, and I love to plan the trips. I know all the best places to go and what to do when you get there. So relax and jump on board, enjoy the journey!

I can’t wait to see who will be the first 10 women to join me on our premiere trip that just happens to coincide with my birthday the beginning of May. By that time we’ll already be good friends from our first 2 months of “Women, Wine, Wealth and Wisdom”.

This is an ongoing relationship, not a one time trip. I am committed to raising the level of fun and adventure you experience and increasing the circle of amazing women in your life for a long time to come.

If you are ready, reply to this at lynn at and we’ll set up a time to talk. Because this is a small group, I want to make sure we are all a good fit, so this group is by invitation only.

Contact me now, before those 10 spots are full. The choice is yours. You can hear how much fun we had and look at all the pictures of what you missed, or you can be the one telling all your friends what a great trip it was and how you can’t wait for the next one.

If this appeals to you – and you are serious about joining us then email me at lynn at with why you want to join us.

Aren’t you tired of watching other people having fun, going places you want to go and spending time with people you wish you were hanging out with?

I want YOU to have fun!

WOW! Ok, I planned on this email being short, but as you can tell, I’m excited about this. In fact, in case you can’t tell, I’m extremely passionate about providing you with this opportunity.

So there you have it, straight from my heart. No pretense – no hype – just a promise to deliver on passion, purpose and play to the few women who get to join me in this cool adventure! It’s going to be the most fun thing I’ve ever done!

*This won’t be inexpensive*, so no need to respond if you’re looking for budget travel! Ladies, this is first class. What I will tell you is that it’s worth every penny and more. A week at the spa has nothing on a “Women, Wine, Wealth and Wisdom” weekend.

So – my question to you is how long are you willing to go on WITHOUT access to the good life of “Women, Wine, Wealth and Wisdom”?

Right now what you need to do is to email me at lynn at Tell me why you’d want to join us, what is the appeal of this group to you. I will be contacting you DIRECTLY in the next few days to determine if we’d be a good fit.

And if you are one of the TEN people chosen, buckle your seat belt because you’re in for a fun ride!

To your success,
Lynn Pierce

P.S – Because this is SO intimate and because it will result in a TREMENDOUS level of access to me and to my contacts – money, as you may have guessed knowing me, is NOT the primary deciding factor as to who gets in-although the investment will be the same for everyone! My friends will be joining just like you, there is no special deals.

I have a complete vision of the group I’d like to have play together, so it really is a matter of a good mix of women. After you email me I will be contacting you to determine whether or not we’re a good fit.

P.P.S. – This is not for everyone. I am very clear about who I want to spend time with and there will be no whiners, no snobby people, no penny pinchers. This will be a fun, adventurous, generous, happy group of women. If that isn’t you, save yourself the time of responding.

I Just Took a Walk With a Bull Sea Lion

Today was my first day back to my regular afternoon beach walk since I got back from the holidays on Maui and what a walk it turned out to be!

One of the reasons I live at the beach is because I am drawn to the ocean. I normally walk for an hour every day. Today shortly after I turned and started back and my iPod switched from Slightly Stoopid to Foo Fighters, I saw something out of the corner of my eye.

So I stopped and watched for a few seconds.  The sun was in my eyes but I didn’t think what I had seen was one of the seagulls floating on the water so I scanned for another minute and then I saw him.

I’ve lived on the ocean for so many years in places with lots of activity, like Cabo San Lucas where there’s always something to see in the water. So I’ve trained my eyes to always be scanning.

This bull sea lion was so close into shore that I couldn’t believe nobody else saw him. Three different times surfers were within feet of him and didn’t see him.

Two surfers were heading out and he was thrashing around feeding a few feet away and they were oblivious.

The sea lion stopped to eat twice as we strolled up the beach together. I couldn’t believe how close in he stayed and how he swam slow enough that I could walk along with him.

Then he started playing in the waves and I saw how long he was as the sun lit up the wave from behind. I thought he was huge from the size of his head and he was. It was so cool to see him all stretched out inside the wave. Then a few minutes later he did what looked like a somersault in another wave and I was so excited to watch him play, I heard myself talking out loud over my iPod saying, “Wow, that’s so cool!”

I was grinning ear to ear as I turned around to see if anyone else was seeing what I was seeing, but there was nobody there but me.

I spent almost an hour walking with him, going 5 minutes past the stairs to my house and then all of a sudden he turned around and we started to walk back. As we got back by my stairs a dog started pulling his owner into the surf, he smelled him. And as the dog went back and forth in the surf trying to get further into the water, the sea lion dove and he didn’t come back up.

I waited a few minutes after the dog left to see if he was going to re-join me, but no. When I got to the top of the stairs and had a perspective high above the waves, I didn’t see anything but surfers out there. He was gone. But we had walked together for almost an hour and it reminded me yet again of why I live at the beach.

Details of My Daily Blueprint for Life

My life has been described as zen-like, even when I have things going on in my life that would cause others to have sleepless nights.

Friends, clients and even acquaintances, professionals I deal with in my day to day life, ask how I do this and I haven’t really been able to give them an answer other than, my belief system allows me to be at peace when there is no outward logical reason to think things are going to be OK.

But now after some of you asking me for more details on how I live my personal life blueprint, I think it has something to do with the way I live my life in general, the way I structure my day.

I live in a state of flexibility where I can rearrange most things on my schedule at any given time if I choose to do something different. I do this very specifically. I schedule appointments on certain days, grouping them into a morning if possible, so I can change plans for the afternoon if I want. My creative time can be moved as well as other business tasks that don’t have deadlines, just time frames.

So if a friend calls and wants to have lunch tomorrow or wants to meet for drinks in 2 hours, I can move things around easily. Or if I have an opportunity to take a last minute trip, I can re-schedule an entire week and do phone appointments with clients or interviews while I’m traveling.

Like this morning, I didn’t plan on writing this until it popped into my head while I was sitting on my patio, reading at breakfast. So now I’ll move what I had on my calendar for this time to the next hour. It doesn’t matter that it’s Saturday, I do this any day of the week.

Part of creating your own life blueprint is learning how you function best. For me it’s having a flexible schedule so if I look out the window and it’s so beautiful out that I want to go walk on the beach at 10:00 as well as my afternoon walk, I can. Or if I decide I’m going to go out to lunch today somewhere that I can watch surfers, I’ll drive down to Del Mar and have lunch at the beach.

That kind of schedule may work for you or it may make you crazy. I help my clients figure out what works best for them.

So here are the details of my morning ritual that sets the tone for my day and my life. Rituals are a big part of creating that zen-like peacefulness. You always know what you’re going to do next within your ritual. It’s something you do with full attention and intention to start your day.

I haven’t used an alarm in so many years I can’t even remember when I stopped. It has to be at least 20 years ago. I wake up when I wake up. If I need to wake up for an early flight or an early speaking engagement after flying to another time zone, I specifically tell myself what time I need to wake up and leave it to my sub-conscious mind to do it. It’s never failed me.

I always live in places that don’t have lots of night light so I never shut drapes, if I even have them, to sleep. I wake up at different times depending on the time of year it is. Summer 5-5:30, winter 6-6:30.

I take anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes to listen to the idle chatter in my mind when I wake up so I can start my meditation with a quiet mind. The extent of the different mediation practices I do change from time to time, but the two constants are that I start with my daily lesson in Change One Thing, Change You Life (which I’ve been doing since I created it) and then move on to my daily lesson in Course in Miracles.

I became a student of the Course 15 years ago and that was the beginning of real daily meditation. My meditation can take anywhere from 1/2 hour to 2 hours depending on what I add to my practice.

After my mediation I do a relaxing bath with scented bath salts and do inspirational reading for 1/2 hour.

For years I did daily yoga and now I am starting that again, so add another 1/2 hour.

Then I come downstairs and and make my tea. Green tea, usually jasmine, but right now guava and ginseng that was a gift while I was on Maui for the holidays.

I watch my mind movies on my computer, can’t help dancing and singing to those while my tea brews. Then I eat my breakfast while I read either a personal development or business book. I always eat outside if it’s possible.

Once I finish my breakfast, it’s time to go to work. That usually is 9:00, sometimes a little later. I will cut down on some of my reading if I have an earlier appointment.

My work day usually ends between 5-6:00 unless I have an interview or I’m doing a teleseminar. I do not get on my computer to check email or do social networking when I’m not working.

I do choose to work some on weekends if I’m home, which makes it easier for me to take more time off to travel.

The way I spend the first 3 hours of my day is what grounds me in my life. It sets the tone of peace and tranquility that follows me through my day.

You don’t have to spend 3 hours, that’s just the way I’ve chosen to structure my life blueprint. Or is it because I’ve consciously designed my life blueprint that I have the ability to spend 3 hours in the morning?

You may think that you don’t even have half an hour to spend on meditation, but when you make the decision to find the time, time will expand for you and you will find yourself more relaxed and more productive. Things will flow in an effortless way where it looks like you are just floating through your day, and it you’ll feel like you really are!

Do this in conjunction with the 2 steps we discussed in our last Blueprints for Life call and you’ll have a good beginning for creating your Blueprint for Life when you come to San Diego Feb. 20-22nd.
