In the last week I’ve spent 2 days with a friend in La Jolla and then on to San Francisco for a weekend with Marianne Williamson and back to spend another day  with a friend in town. And everywhere I went, the weather was absolutely gorgeous!

I’m home for almost 2 weeks and then in Scottsdale for a few days on each side of a week on Maui again in February. I’m going to spend a few days relaxing on the beach and at the spa. Love the Grand Wailea!

When I was there over the holidays it was a more active vacation showing a first timer around the island, so I still feel the need for some quiet and relaxing time.

Tuesday was a history making day on many different levels, not only for the U.S., but I believe for the world because it served as a turning point between the way things have been done in the past and how things can change.

Is it possible for you to make that same break of out with the old way you’ve always done things and in with the new possibilities in your life?

Barack Obama is wasting no time declaring that things are going to shift in this country and the way we show up in the world. He’s not waiting for anyone’s permission to do it. He’s taking charge and making decisions for the good of this country with consideration for the good of the world. All I can say is, “It’s about time!”

Are you doing that in your own life? I certainly hope you have a plan. If not, make a plan now to create your Blueprint for Life with me in San Diego Feb. 20-22nd.

I’m answering your 2 biggest questions

In a January 12 blog post I asked you this question:

What could you be creating in your life if your mind wasn’t occupied with trying to answer the same two questions over and over?

What are the two questions?
1. Who am I?
2. What is my life purpose?

If you knew the answers to those questions what would you turn your creative attention to? And how would your life flow easier and more joyfully?

Well, you have submitted some great questions in our Blueprints for Life survey, so I’m doing a call Thursday where I’ll be talking more about these two questions and answering more of your questions.

Call registration:
http://LynnPierce.com/ebff.html

I hope while you were watching the Barack Obama being sworn in yesterday and listening to his speech you were asking yourself these important questions.

Because until you know these answers you will not be fully participating in creating your own life or fulfilling your purpose on the planet.

Call registration:

Talk to you tomorrow night.

To your success,
Lynn Pierce

This week’s article answers another listener’s question from our Blueprints for Lifepreview teleseminars that I didn’t have time to answer live on the call.

Speaking of that, if you haven’t registered for tonight’s Blueprints for Life teleseminar go to:

I’m getting ready to pick up a friend from the airport this morning so I needed to get this out to you a little early today.  Then tomorrow I’m off to San Francisco for a weekend with Marianne Williamson. And then back Monday to spend the day with a friend in town. It’s a busy time in San Diego, everyone wants out of the cold weather!

I’m happy to say that I just off to Maui again in February, the holidays just weren’t long enough for me. I think this time I’ll try to get a tan.

We’re only 2 weeks into the year and your thoughts are probably on doing, doing, doing. But what about building a stronger foundation than the one that got you to where you ended last year?

It’s a good time to do a review of what worked in 2008 and what needs to be improved. A stronger, broader foundation is required the higher you build, so the tools and strategies that got you to where you are now may not be capable of getting you where you want to go this year.

You have a full eleven and a half months left to make this your best year ever. What can you do today to make that happen?

What kind of changes have you seen in your life already this year? Is your year on track to go according to your plan? I certainly hope you have a plan. If not, make a plan now to create your Blueprint for Life with me in San Diego Feb. 20-22nd.

http://LynnPierce.com/ebff.html

I believe life is an adventure and adventures involve change. If your life is like mine, there are always changes going on. Things are always coming up that are unexpected.

In the last few months I’ve moved to San Diego, furnished a new place, had a fall full of travel and speaking engagements from one end of the country to the other and back again. Thank God I have the flexibility to do it, because I love to travel!

If it wasn’t for the blueprint I created for my life, it would have been easy for me to get sidetracked by all these things. Instead it was just a matter of looking at what I absolutely needed to get done to achieve my goals and what could wait until later.

Life happens, be ready for it. Click on the link below and get started creating a vision for your life, a plan for your future, your Blueprint for Life.

Are These 2 Unanswered Questions Running Your Life?

What could you be creating in your life if your mind wasn’t occupied with trying to answer the same two questions over and over?

What are the two questions?
1. Who am I?
2. What is my life purpose?

If you knew the answers to those questions what would you turn your creative attention to? And how would your life flow easier and more joyfully?

Most likely you have no idea how much time you spend asking your sub-conscious mind these two questions. Because for the most part, they are constantly being asked on a looping tape below the surface of your conscious awareness.

They are taking up a tremendous amount of space in your mind and taxing your energy level because you never get an answer that satisfies you.

Just like on your computer for example, which has programs you actively open and work with, there are also many things that are running behind the scenes that those of us who aren’t techies wouldn’t even know how to find.

And yet you can have a techie who understands all this sit down with you and shows you where all those programs are and explains what they do.  You now can look at each one and see if you choose to keep it running or if you want to delete them, freeing up some space so that your computer will run more efficiently.

Would you like to do that with your mind so that your life will be in flow and peace, rather than running on sheer will and adrenaline? That’s what I help my clients do by teaching you how to create your life blueprint.

Together we take a look and see what’s operating behind the scenes with you, zapping your energy and holding you back from your full potential. Your personal blueprint for life is the process that takes you from the way your life runs now to how you want it to be as the life of your dreams.

Being able to respond rather than react to life’s constant flow of information and situations comes from the foundation you have of knowing the answers to those two very important questions. It’s what makes your life seem effortless because you are living from a place peace and joy.

On the other hand, while these two questions are running endlessly in your subconscious, nothing that you do consciously is being done at the level it could be if you freed up this space. In fact you probably can feel that something is missing in your life, can’t you?

If you’ve been listening to our Blueprints for Life calls, you already know the first two steps to take to get your personal answers and create your own personal blueprint for life.  If not, get the links to the replays by registering here:
http://LynnPierce.com/ebff.html

I truly believe that the most effective and fastest way for you to make this transformation in your life is to join me in San Diego Feb. 20-22nd for the live Blueprints for Life.  This is an intimate closed door intensive, not a big ballroom event because the only way I can facilitate this kind of transformation is by working with you in a very small group.

If you really want 2009 to not only be different from your past, but to be on a completely different level of being and living for you, go to

Details of My Daily Blueprint for Life

My life has been described as zen-like, even when I have things going on in my life that would cause others to have sleepless nights.

Friends, clients and even acquaintances, professionals I deal with in my day to day life, ask how I do this and I haven’t really been able to give them an answer other than, my belief system allows me to be at peace when there is no outward logical reason to think things are going to be OK.

But now after some of you asking me for more details on how I live my personal life blueprint, I think it has something to do with the way I live my life in general, the way I structure my day.

I live in a state of flexibility where I can rearrange most things on my schedule at any given time if I choose to do something different. I do this very specifically. I schedule appointments on certain days, grouping them into a morning if possible, so I can change plans for the afternoon if I want. My creative time can be moved as well as other business tasks that don’t have deadlines, just time frames.

So if a friend calls and wants to have lunch tomorrow or wants to meet for drinks in 2 hours, I can move things around easily. Or if I have an opportunity to take a last minute trip, I can re-schedule an entire week and do phone appointments with clients or interviews while I’m traveling.

Like this morning, I didn’t plan on writing this until it popped into my head while I was sitting on my patio, reading at breakfast. So now I’ll move what I had on my calendar for this time to the next hour. It doesn’t matter that it’s Saturday, I do this any day of the week.

Part of creating your own life blueprint is learning how you function best. For me it’s having a flexible schedule so if I look out the window and it’s so beautiful out that I want to go walk on the beach at 10:00 as well as my afternoon walk, I can. Or if I decide I’m going to go out to lunch today somewhere that I can watch surfers, I’ll drive down to Del Mar and have lunch at the beach.

That kind of schedule may work for you or it may make you crazy. I help my clients figure out what works best for them.

So here are the details of my morning ritual that sets the tone for my day and my life. Rituals are a big part of creating that zen-like peacefulness. You always know what you’re going to do next within your ritual. It’s something you do with full attention and intention to start your day.

I haven’t used an alarm in so many years I can’t even remember when I stopped. It has to be at least 20 years ago. I wake up when I wake up. If I need to wake up for an early flight or an early speaking engagement after flying to another time zone, I specifically tell myself what time I need to wake up and leave it to my sub-conscious mind to do it. It’s never failed me.

I always live in places that don’t have lots of night light so I never shut drapes, if I even have them, to sleep. I wake up at different times depending on the time of year it is. Summer 5-5:30, winter 6-6:30.

I take anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes to listen to the idle chatter in my mind when I wake up so I can start my meditation with a quiet mind. The extent of the different mediation practices I do change from time to time, but the two constants are that I start with my daily lesson in Change One Thing, Change You Life (which I’ve been doing since I created it) and then move on to my daily lesson in Course in Miracles.

I became a student of the Course 15 years ago and that was the beginning of real daily meditation. My meditation can take anywhere from 1/2 hour to 2 hours depending on what I add to my practice.

After my mediation I do a relaxing bath with scented bath salts and do inspirational reading for 1/2 hour.

For years I did daily yoga and now I am starting that again, so add another 1/2 hour.

Then I come downstairs and and make my tea. Green tea, usually jasmine, but right now guava and ginseng that was a gift while I was on Maui for the holidays.

I watch my mind movies on my computer, can’t help dancing and singing to those while my tea brews. Then I eat my breakfast while I read either a personal development or business book. I always eat outside if it’s possible.

Once I finish my breakfast, it’s time to go to work. That usually is 9:00, sometimes a little later. I will cut down on some of my reading if I have an earlier appointment.

My work day usually ends between 5-6:00 unless I have an interview or I’m doing a teleseminar. I do not get on my computer to check email or do social networking when I’m not working.

I do choose to work some on weekends if I’m home, which makes it easier for me to take more time off to travel.

The way I spend the first 3 hours of my day is what grounds me in my life. It sets the tone of peace and tranquility that follows me through my day.

You don’t have to spend 3 hours, that’s just the way I’ve chosen to structure my life blueprint. Or is it because I’ve consciously designed my life blueprint that I have the ability to spend 3 hours in the morning?

You may think that you don’t even have half an hour to spend on meditation, but when you make the decision to find the time, time will expand for you and you will find yourself more relaxed and more productive. Things will flow in an effortless way where it looks like you are just floating through your day, and it you’ll feel like you really are!

Do this in conjunction with the 2 steps we discussed in our last Blueprints for Life call and you’ll have a good beginning for creating your Blueprint for Life when you come to San Diego Feb. 20-22nd.

If you would like personal mentoring, send me an email detailing what you would like help with.  As your mentor I hold a bigger vision for you than you hold for yourself.  When you have faith and a team that believes in you, it gives you courage.  When you don’t have to do it all yourself, all things

What’s New
This week’s article answers a listener’s question from our Blueprints for Life preview teleseminar that I didn’t have time to answer live on the call.

Speaking of that, if you haven’t registered for tonight’s Blueprints for Life teleseminar go to:

http://LynnPierce.com/ebff.html

I’m back from Christmas on Maui and New Year’s in Scottsdale. After 3 weeks away from the office it was a little difficult to get back into the groove yesterday.  I’m feeling completely refreshed and energized and ready for a great year. I’m really excited about all the new parts of my business you’ll be hearing about shortly-all designed to serve you better!

I wish I could say that 2008 was a great year for me, but to be blunt, it sucked and I’m glad it’s over. There were some hard choices that had to be made and I made them. In between the sucky parts I did have a lot of fun, so no tears for me.

I faced some pretty big personal transitions last year, including divorce and the major financial implications that come with it. The real estate market was not kind to me and neither were my investments. But the lessons I learned have given me a great head start on having a totally kick-ass year in 2009.

How about you? I know for a lot of you after reading your questions, it wasn’t a great year. For some it was the best ever. I have very few bad days, much less years, so I can’t complain.

Now we all get to start over!

The way I look at it, life is like one big etcha-sketch (if that’s how you spell it). When an experience is over you just turn the knob and everything you see disappears and you can draw a brand new picture of whatever makes you
happy. And life goes on to be whatever you choose.

On tonight’s teleseminar I’ll be sharing my personal blueprint for life that I’ve used to consciously create my life for the last 30 years. If you want to find out how I dealt with all the stuff in my life last year and came out the other side, you’ll hear my personal philosophy tonight.

Create Your Blueprint for Life With Me Thursday Night

Our second Blueprints for Life teleseminar is tomorrow night. On this call I’ll be sharing how I create my personal Blueprint for Life. We had so many listener questions I wanted to answer last time, we didn’t get to this part on our last call.

So we’ll talk about designing your life first and then I’ll answer more of your questions, so make sure you use the link in the registration email you get to ask me your question.

Register for the second call by going to:

http://LynnPierce.com/ebff.html

Your questions will be the focus of tomorrow’s article in my Change One Thing ezine as well, so look for that in your inbox mid-day.

I just got back from the holiday travel, and while I was enjoying Maui, I was very happy to see that many of you listened to the replay of our first Blueprints for Life teleseminar. That first teleseminar was very helpful to many listeners how emailed, phoned and twittered after the call wanting me to know I was talking directly to them.  The funny part was the phone calls from friends thinking I was talking about them, and no I wasn’t,but if the shoe fits…

It was filled with great content as I answered questions from listeners who are ready to create a blueprint for the life of their dreams. This will allow you to reconnect with your soul, reclaim your life and become the person you were created to be, all while your business works for you rather than you working for it.

It’s a pretty tall order, I know. But it’s time to get clear and get moving in the direction you really want to go.

Register for the second call by going to:

http://LynnPierce.com/ebff.html

In the email you receive with the call-in details you’ll get the link to listen to the replay of the first call.

If you’ve been a subscriber of mine for a while you know this has been an interesting year of growth for me. There have been some exciting changes and some challenges to overcome.

Through it all I have been able to live a truly magical lifestyle and have my business accommodate whatever I chose to do, even when major plans changed.

So many people have asked me how I’ve handled the divorce, moving to another state and changes I’ve made in my business all without the littlest hiccup. (Personally, there were some hiccups.)

On Thursday in a free teleseminar I will share my secrets with you. I’ll show you how I’ve consciously designed my life over the last 30+ years so that nothing takes me off course for more than a minute or two. And how you can create that same unshakable foundation in your life.

http://lynnpierce.com/ebff.html

I think this is particularly important given what is happening in the world right now.  Not just the economy, but the bigger picture of the major shift in consciousness that will transform the world as it unfolds.

I want to help you be on the forefront of this shift by being aligned within yourself and with your business.

So join me Tuesday as I reveal my step-by-step system. We’ll talk about how you can create your personalized blueprint for life; allowing you to reconnect with your soul, reclaim your life and become the person you were created to be, all while your business works for you rather than you working for it.

http://lynnpierce.com/ebff.html

We will do a series of call on this topic. Tuesday is the first step. All the calls are free. I’m serious when I tell you that you don’t want to miss this.

When you register for the call you’ll get a link to tell me what your biggest challenge is and I will be answering as many of those as I can on the call.

The live call will be Tuesday the 16th at 6PM Pacific and if you can’t be on live, you can listen to the replay.

So register for the call here:

http://lynnpierce.com/ebff.html

Here’s something for you to ponder before you listen:
A broad vision is no vision. It’s a wish. A true vision for your life is laser focused.

If you’ve already registered, do I have your question? I’ll be answering questions on calls, in my ezine and also on my blog. I’m excited about the range of question I already have, but I want to make sure I answer yours too.

And as I said before I will not be reading names, so those of you who have asked to remain anonymous, your privacy goes with saying.

If you haven’t registered yet, here’s the link:

http://LynnPierce.com/ebff.html

To your success,
Lynn Pierce

P.S. The 3 payment option for the live Blueprints for Life on Feb. 20-22nd in San Diego ends Friday.

If this is an area of your life you could use some assistance in, I encourage you to take a look at the event now.  It will be a small intimate group.

These teleseminars are jam-packed with real content, not a pitch for the event. I will give you strategies you can use right away on your own as I answer your questions submitted online.

Why 97% of people will never achieve success; you?

This could make you angry (I’m just calling it the way I see it) or you might know someone you need to forward this to.

You’ve probably heard about the 80/20 rule.  20% of people in a group/company/industry will produce 80% of the results.  It’s also true that 20% of your activities will produce 80% of your results/income/happiness.

What you may not know is that only 3% of people every become really successful or reach their full potential.  Out of 100 people who set a goal, only 3 will follow through and achieve it.

Why? They don’t have a plan. They don’t know what they want their life/business/relationship to look like, so of course, they have no step-by-step blueprint to get there.

Guess what? They also don’t get results they like either.

Be on this teleseminar Tuesday and I’ll share how you can be in the 3%:
http://lynnpierce.com/ebff.html

How did I figure this out?

I was in a mentoring organization for entrepreneurs in 2001/2002 with about 400 people. We met every quarter and were exposed to top experts in many fields to help us grow personally and professionally. I was brand new as an entrepreneur and didn’t even have an idea of what I wanted to do when I joined this group.

And yet, by being open to opportunities showing up that would help me figure out what my path was going to be in my new life, I became one of those 3%. In fact looking back to this large group of people who had paid several thousands of dollars to be in this group, I think the success rate was even less than 3%.

I find that really sad.  But one thing I observed early on was that not everyone who spends money really wants to get a result. Some people have convinced themselves that the simple act of signing up and spending money is action that will move them forward.

That is an illusion.

The only thing that will move you forward is participation, full-out 100% engagement.

It doesn’t even have to be something that you pay for.  There are teleseminars, videos, audios all over the Internet that offer plenty of great content on a variety of subjects. So you can’t use the excuse that you can’t afford the help you need.  That’s simply not the case.

Like this teleseminar packed with great content for you:
http://lynnpierce.com/ebff.html

I’ve had some terrific questions come in from those of you who have already registered for tomorrow’s call and I’m looking forward to answering every single one!

But guess what?

Even though people are signing up for the call about how to create the life of your dreams and the business to fund it, 97% have no questions!

I shouldn’t be shocked, but I am. There are 2 possible explanations for this. (I hope it’s the second.) So it’s time for some tough love.

The first explanation could be that, following the 3% rule, these people are kidding themselves about wanting a result different than what they are getting now.

They have an opportunity to get individual help and they aren’t taking advantage of it.  Passively listening to a teleseminar hoping that someone else has asked a question that will be the answer for what’s preventing you from being successful is crazy.

I hope it’s this explanation:
You don’t have the clarity necessary to even know what it is you need help with. This is easy to correct. This is more common than you would think and the biggest issue that keeps people stuck.

Lack of clarity comes from not knowing the correct questions to ask yourself to get clear. I can help you with that-especially if you ask me a question to give me a clue where you’re stuck.

If you’re not clear, you’re spinning around in circles doing a lot of tasks, working really hard, and not knowing what it is that will really move you forward. You’re overwhelmed, losing your enthusiasm for what you’re doing and don’t know what to do next.

If this is the case, you really need to be on the call.
http://lynnpierce.com/ebff.html

…and please ask a question, even if it’s just to tell me you’re overwhelmed, so I know how to help you when we talk.

See you Tuesday!
http://lynnpierce.com/ebff.html

What do Frank Kern & I Have In Common?

The subject line of Frank’s email to me was about him being on MTV Cribs. That was weird enough, and that’s not really what the video is about.

The “official” title is called “How To Get Rich” and when I first heard that, I was ready for some good old fashioned hype.

But what I got instead was funny and inspiring video that’s full of excellent content.

This is a great new video from Frank Kern:
https://infomillion.infusionsoft.com/go/1/mikevideos

Most interesting was that after the first few minutes touring Frank’s La Jolla crib, (I love his bed frame) he went into his 4 point plan for getting rich that is exactly aligned with what we’ll be talking about on our teleseminar Tuesday. His video is a perfect preview for our call!

Frank talks to you about implementing the core principles we’ll discuss in marketing and I’ll follow up with you on Tuesday by talking to you about the bigger picture of applying them to create your life.

So stop what you’re doing, indulge in the brief house tour and then get ready to take some notes on how to get rich. He’s telling you the straight truth of what it takes.

See Frank’s video here:

These teleseminars are jam-packed with real content, not a pitch for the event. I will give you strategies you can use right away on your own as I answer your questions submitted online.
