I spent the last week in Scottsdale and it was colder than I expected. I stayed for the weekend to go and catch up with some friends at Armand Morin’s event. It was a great event with Armand giving the best tutorial on Ad Words that I’d ever seen and several new ideas for my business!

Armand has a real gift for making things simple enough that I can understand them. And I heard Michael Lee Austin may have a new CD on the horizon.

I have to say that being home for the last week has been a true pleasure. I’ve been taking hour long walks on the beach every afternoon, I’m almost unpacked and now I’m off to have lunch with a friend. It’s been great to start re-connecting with all my friends who live in the San Diego area and more are calling & emailing telling me they are here all the time. That’s what happens when you work virtually, I don’t keep track of where people actually live!

With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I’m re-running this article that originally appeared in eraly April. I’ve been doing a lot of introspection the last few weeks, since leaving my house in Scottsdale where I had spent the last few years of my marraige and moving to the beach.

As part of that I had a conversation with a woman about breast cancer where I revealed things about my own cure that I’ve never talked about except to my closest friends. And then I said something that stopped her dead in her tracks.

She said, “You have to share this because my sister has been struggling with breast cancer for almost 3 years and she’s depressed and I don’t know what else I can do to help her…but you do.”

So I’m going to do 2 follow-up articles after this and I would suggest that you forward this ezine to anyone you know that has had breast cancer or knows someone who has and have them become a subscriber so they get the next 2 issues where I will reveal my personal journey to a cure that took place within 30 days of being diagnosed with no
recurrence in alomst 10 years. And then in the 3rd article in this series I’ll reveal the rest of the story, that was the most impactful part, that changed the coure of my life.

I have to tell you that even writing this here makes me a little anxious about doing these articles because it was so personal and not the general accepted course to follow.

NOTE: I do have to say that this is my personal expereince and I have no medical training and nothing I share with you should be taken as medical advise. You should always consult your doctor.

On a lighter side, back to business. I think I’m going to leave this section exactly as it was last time this article ran because I still want you to listen to this call and tell me what you think. Because I’m not asking you to opt-in I have no way of knowing how many of you listen, but statistically, I know most of you haven’t. So do it now.

What’s NewThis week’s article kicks off a series of 5 articles on the “4 Core Blueprints to Reclaim your Life, Awaken Your Soul and Your Business”. I expect this series to start a lot of conversation on my log, just like we had in April when we talked about becoming an expert and creating product.

I’m getting ready to go to my new home in North San Diego county next month. One of my mastermind partners helped me do the research to find a great townhouse at the beach and I’ve got the movers lined up so now I just have to finish packing. Then I’ve got 2 days to unpack before heading to New York for a private group.

Fall was my favorite season when I lived in the southeast. I’m hoping fall may come to New York a little early this year, because I’m pretty sure it won’t be fall yet when I’m in Atlanta the first few days of October and I don’t plan on going east for anything else in the fall.

I will be looking for a pet sitter in San Diego, so if you know of someone there, let me know.

I’m doing a ton of travel in the next month or so I’ve got a big list of events to tell you about.

Why Can’t We Say What We Mean?

This project Jed put together was so successful because of the diverse backgrounds of all involved. Each person involved has something very, very special to share with the world and to help our readers/listeners/viewers to improve their situation and help them move their business and communication skills to a new level.

Tim Russert, Tiger Woods and the Red Cross

Like I said last week, I’m still in Scottsdale and it’s way past hot! We’ve had a heat advisory for the last week, but that’s nothing compared to what some of you are dealing with in the middle of the country with all the flooding. My heart goes out to all of you dealing with that.

This is also a good time to remember that charitable organizations need your donations now. I heard that the Red Cross is taking loans out to be able to keep doing their work. That’s a real shame, because even though one segment of the population is cutting back because of the economy there are still more than enough people with money who can donate.

Last week I also mentioned how we are more interested in people when we feel a connection with them. Well, that was certainly borne out by 2 things this past week; the sad passing of Tim Russert and the drama at Torrey Pines created by Tiger Woods and Rocco Mediate.

I wrote about Tiger in my book, “Breakthrough to Success” available on Amazon.com, but this is a whole new story on many levels that I’ll tell you about next week.

I decided to do this week’s article on Tim Russert and what we can learn from the way he lived his life and his passion.

On another note, every Tuesday and Thursday through the 29th of July I’m hosting 1 hour training calls.
