Are you living the life of your dreams? If you're shaking your head no, why not? What is it going to take to get you started today? My belief, since you already have this book in your hand, is that you're going to sit down and read this book and then most importantly, implement what you learn here.
The way to use this material that has worked best for my students in the past has been to start with the first secret and work your way through each one in order.
If you look over the list and discover you could use improvement in a particular area immediately, take the one you need to improve and concentrate on that for a week and then move through the rest of the secrets one by one until you have mastered each one to your satisfaction.
You can live the life of your dreams ...
I believe it is possible for you to start living the life of your dreams, incrementally, starting today. All you need is a road map, a blueprint for creating the vision for your life. That's where the
19 Keys to Mastering Every Area of Your Life come in.
The 19 keys are not only the principles I live my life by, but they are also the very same principles the majority of multi-millionaires I know have used to gain and retain their wealth. Now I'm passing these secrets on to you.
Wealth, financial independence and abundance are very different for each individual, so I prefer to look at wealth in broader terms than just cold hard cash.
Wealth in our conversation is empowered wealth, demonstrated by a different type of millionaire or billionaire. You may see no need for millions, but just remember; it's not all about you and what you need in your personal life. The more you have the more people you can help.
Because, believe it or not, many people the money didn't motivate who have become very wealthy. Money is the tool that allows them to live life on their terms. That's why I prefer to talk instead about how you're going to get to the point where you're living the life of your dreams!
I've made it my mission since getting out of school, more years ago than I want to mention, to live the life of my dreams. My passion is to teach people just like you how to do the same. You've got a life, right? Why not make it the best one you could possibly dream of designing it yourself?
Charlie "Tremendous" Jones, author of the classic book Life is Tremendous says, "You'll be the same person five years from now except for the people you meet and the books you read."
I think that's a great start, but in my experience, it takes several factors to make you a different person five years from now. And if you use all 19 keys you find here, you can be a dramatically different person just a few weeks from now.
Before you give yourself the excuse that this may work for other people, but it won't work for you, let me assure you these principles are universal and work exactly the same for everyone, everywhere.
Tomorrow you could go to any corner of the world, teach these principles to someone else and watch their life become transformed.
These 19 keys are my personal life mastery system that I've developed through more than 25 years of research, study and as little trial and error as possible. I try to live my life modeling the successes of others and seeing what works and what doesn't so I don't have to reinvent the wheel.
Hindsight is always 20/20 and sometimes a longer perspective can be very enlightening. Looking back at the past allows you to learn and teach from the experience with less judgment of the situation or yourself.
On the pages that follow I will reveal to you some very personal experiences. Actually I reveal a great number of less-than-flattering experiences. Some I'm not proud of, but I think it's more important to be honest than to protect my ego.
My hope is that sharing my experiences will serve to give you insight into your own subconscious motivations and save you from making the same mistakes. So if your reaction to these stories is, "How did she ever get from this to where she is now?" that's okay with me.
Because the truth is, if I made it out the other end and became successful with all the self-sabotage and plain old mistakes I made, you can certainly achieve your dreams if you're willing to make the same level of commitment.
I would venture to say that you are not starting from the same place, so your journey could in fact be much easier than the path that got me to where I am today.
If you think you're starting from a big black hole, please take advantage of the short cuts my experience will give you so you don't have to live in pain, frustration and denial I did for so many years. Thank God I eventually chose to look at the true potential that had been waiting inside me all along.
My humble beginnings ...
Before we get started with the first secret, let me give you the short version of how I began my journey. I was born into a middle income, midwestern family, and the oldest of three kids. My parents, high school graduates, both worked. I was an average student. I made an unenthusiastic attempt at community college and then went into real estate.
I didn't start out with any special advantages. I was short, I looked too young to be taken seriously and I was painfully shy. Not exactly a recipe for success if I wanted to be a Realtor—and yet I became very successful, very quickly.
I actually started with some real disadvantages compared to people who grew up in a supportive, encouraging environment. My family was not the touchy-feely type and compliments were not given freely. I learned what I did wrong, not what I did right.
I grew up with very low self-esteem and few friends. I was a loner. I didn't participate in group activities. We moved about every two years so I was always the new kid in school. Needless to say, I was incredibly shy.
Becoming a person who talks in front of groups for a living was quite a process of transformation. About 15 years after high school, I caught up with an old friend who was speechless at the thought of me being a sales trainer. It was incomprehensible that the quiet little wallflower she had known was now talking for a living!
The origins of my path to success ...
Surprisingly enough, what did start me on the path to discover this formula for success was a class I took on time management for Realtors. They recommended a list of books, that once I started reading, changed my life forever. Well, maybe Charlie was right after all.
How to get the most benefit from this book...
I consider these 19 keys the building blocks of true success. They form a pyramid based on the role they play in creating an abundant life.
You'll find that I ask a lot of questions and I give you lots of questions to ask yourself in this book. I believe the quickest path to lasting change is to ask yourself the right questions.
I also believe the quickest way to find out what you really want or don't want in your life is by asking yourself better questions than you've asked in the past.
There are action steps included all along the way that will direct you in how to implement what you are learning. Don't wait to do them. Do it when you read it and then move on. If you don't do it right away one of two things will happen.
You'll either bookmark the spot and never finish the book because you never do the action step or you'll just keep reading with every intention to come back and do all the action steps when you have time.
Neither of these approaches is logical or practical. If you don't do the work as you go through the book, there is a 99 percent chance you never will. In that case, there is no need for you to wonder why you are not reaching the level of success you would like.
You have to do the work to reach your goals!
So get ready to incorporate the 19 Keys to Mastering Everything in Your Life into your life and start living the life of your dreams today!
